Obituary of Barbara Ann Schmidt

Barbara Ann Schmidt (nee Gumpper), 77 years, of Glendora NJ, passed away on December 23, 2020. Devoted mother of Edmund J Modestowicz, Jr. (Patricia) and Denise Minner. Dear sister of James Gumpper, Miriam Sipple, Alice Gumpper and the late Billy, Kate, Shirley, Ronny and Claire. Cherished grandmother of Latasha Bonawitz (Bryan), Ashley Knichel (Paris), Harley Modestowicz and the late Edmund J. Modestowicz, III and great grandmother of Bella, Laila, Bentley, Brayden, Carter and the late Logan. Also survived by her former husbands George Schmidt and Edmund J. Modestowicz, Sr. and his wife Susan.

Barbara loved to garden plants and vegetables in her free time. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service and interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ on Wednesday afternoon beginning promptly at 2:30PM. Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn, and attendance will be limited to follow all COVID-19 guidelines.
