In 1961, her life changed when she accepted the Lord as her personal Savior. For many years, she was active member of Mullica Hill Baptist Church. She was a true evangelist, never missing an opportunity to share God’s word, winning countless people to the Lord. She was a loving mother and doting grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and would often call just to check in with them. Joanne was very social, and made friends wherever she went. She loved going out to eat with friends and family and was an avid reader in her spare time. Her family will miss her greatly, but rejoices in the knowledge she is with her Lord and Savior and will see her again.
