Obituary of Sarah Bernadette McGowan

Sarah Bernadette McGowan (née McShane), of Lindenwold, NJ, passed away on November 27, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Loving mother of Anthony and the late Patrick. Sweet mother-in-law of Helene and Mendy. Dear sister of Philomena, Connell, Brendan, and the late John, Michael, Mary, Paddy, Tom, Eileen, Willie, Bernard. Dear sister-in-law of Dolores, Marjory, Susanna, Margaret, Helen and Sadie and the late Mary, Michael, Jimmy and Bartley. Cherished grandmother of Bernadette, Patrick, Maura, Sarah and Dallas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bernadette, as she was known to most people, worked for many years as the school secretary at the St. Lawrence school. She then went to work as the secretary at St. Edward's school in Pine Hill until they closed. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday evening from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N. WHITE HORSE PIKE, LINDENWOLD, NJ 08021. Mass of Christian Burial Monday morning 10:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. Lawrence Campus, 135 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold, NJ 08021. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
