Obituary of William McQuaid
William McQuaid of Stratford on January 27th, 2019, age 72. Son of the late Frank and Margret McQuaid. He is survived by his loving wife Rosemary (née Fanelle), devoted daughters Tara Mote (Chris), Dayna McQuaid (Jon-Michael), treasured grandsons Brayden and Gavin Mote, cherished sisters Theresa Graham (George), Margret Christy, and loving in-laws Diane Williams (John), and Frank Fanelle (Maria), and also many nieces and nephews.
Bill was a very loving husband, father and Pop to his grandsons. He was a little quirky at times but whomever he met loved him. He was always a kind soul and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He loved the ladies and always gave them a kiss whether he knew them or just met them; it didn’t matter. He loved life and his family, whom were an important part of his life. Until recent years he loved going on cruises and going to the shore. Diabetes took a toll on him and he eventually lost his fight with the disease.
He was my rock, my love and my best friend. Rest in Peace, my love.
Bill requested there be no viewing or flowers but donations can be made to American Diabetes Association at:
